Boise, Idaho, Native Will Head MSNBC.Com
Sep. 23–A Boise native was named president of MSNBC.com Thursday. Charles Tillinghast previously was general manager and publisher for MSNBC.com where he served as a liaison between NBC and Microsoft, joint owners of the Web site.
Tillinghast graduated from Brown University and earned his master’s in business administration from Harvard Business School.
He now serves on the Albertson College of Idaho’s board of trustees and lives in Woodinville, Wash., with his wife and four children.
