Global Training Technologies Launches New Blended Learning Platform for On-Demand Corporate Education; Web-Based Solution for Business Training and Instruction Unveiled at TechLearn 2005

Posted on: Monday, 26 September 2005, 09:00 CDT

Global Training Technologies, a premier developer of Web-based solutions for training, corporate education, and business communications, today announced the launch of its innovative GTT Learning Platform.

Developed to be viewed on Web browsers using the Macromedia Flash Player, the GTT Learning Platform introduces proven learning principles into the online medium. Training applications running on the GTT Learning Platform feature a one-on-one, conversational format featuring full-motion video of engaging educators and trainers and rich multimedia support. "Dual coding" protocols, which link verbal and nonverbal communication in a robust, on-screen environment, have been designed into the system along with intuitive user control features to optimize at-your-pace learning. The GTT architecture is designed to be extensible and expandable to integrate custom corporate content, automated invitation and notification functionality, and multilanguage capability.

Corporate, institutional and small business users will recognize key benefits of using the GTT approach to:

-- Customize current training materials to serve specific educational needs.

-- Make current training programs more lively and engaging.

-- "Refresh" dated educational materials for Gen X and Gen Y audiences.

-- Realize considerable savings vs. traditional classroom programs.

-- Upgrade employee competence and skill mastery in critical areas.

-- Create an evolutionary program that grows with each division or organization.

"We believe that the GTT Learning Platform represents the next generation in on-demand blended learning for Web-based corporate audiences," said company CEO Denny Mason. "Our motivation is to enable companies of all sizes to benefit from the wisdom of top trainers and educators by way of a robust online solution."

The GTT Learning Platform allows companies to offer their employees scheduled and on-demand instruction in a visually stimulating environment which boosts interest and retention. The product suite offers testing, tracking and management capabilities and is well suited for policies and procedures education, new-hire orientation, sexual harassment programs, business law and government-mandated training, corporate best practices and vertical market instruction, customer service training, channel sales instruction, and custom e-Learning for new skill development.

Global Training Technologies will offer live demonstrations of the product's capabilities from booth No. 1500 at TechLearn 2005 in Las Vegas. The event takes place Sept. 25-28, 2005, at the Bellagio Hotel.
