Posted on: Tuesday, 27 September 2005, 12:00 CDT

Wizzard Software (OTCBB:WIZD) announced today that a Fortune 100 global communications leader has licensed AT&T Natural Voices(R) for Server edition for use in one of their wireless communications applications. Wizzard's offering of AT&T Natural Voices Speech Engine for Server enhances the application environment by providing users with text-to-speech messaging capabilities.

Wireless communication device and application sales are higher than ever and are projected to continue to grow in the years to come. According to the research firm Gartner, wireless handheld communication sales will reach 779 million units this year, and the annual sales total is expected to surpass 1 billion units by 2009. Additionally, it is estimated that 2.6 billion mobile phones will be in use within the next four years. Wireless phone sales hit 190.5 million units in the second quarter of 2005, according to Gartner's worldwide sales figures.

"AT&T Natural Voices for Server has proven to be an asset for this and many other companies who are enhancing their products with text-to-speech capabilities," said Danielle Lewis, Marketing Director, Wizzard Software. "With the outlook for wireless communications so bright, we believe Wizzard's world-class speech technologies and services will increasingly be used in communications devices such as this product."

"Increasingly, we are seeing a trend in the market of using speech technology products in wireless communication devices and applications," said Chris Spencer, Wizzard Software CEO. "With our AT&T Natural Voices for Server offering we are finally starting to secure business from big name, multi-billion dollar companies as we had earlier predicted would happen when we originally launched this product. The wireless market is obviously a very compelling market for Wizzard and we intend to aggressively close more business with the major providers."
