Posted on: Tuesday, 27 September 2005, 15:00 CDT

Communications Research, Inc. (OTCBB:CRHI) Mahwah, NJ, announced their subsidiary, TeleWRITER Corporation, Tampa, Florida, today was the recipient of the Best of Show award in the category of 'Collaboration and Web Conferencing Software' at TechLearn in Las Vegas, Nevada. Accepting the award at TechLearn, which is produced by Questex Conference and Expo, was Bill B. Davis, Sales Manager for TeleWRITER Corporation.

When notified of TeleWRITER winning the award, Carl Ceragno exclaimed "Fantastic, what an incredible honor to be awarded Best of Show among our clients, peers and fellow competitors! After a full year of marketing to reintroduce the product that started Computing Collaboration and Web Conferencing, I would say we are right on target. Now we start phase two of our master plan!"

Originally introduced in 1982 and marketed through 1999 by Optel Communications, Version 3.0 was reintroduced by TeleWRITER Corporation in 2004. TeleWRITER-AGS (Advanced Graphics System) software is the oldest and most comprehensive audio/graphic software available today, and it essentially started and defined the market of collaborative computing we know today. TeleWRITER-AGS is a collaborative computing and audiographic conferencing software system. Clients use the product to capture, store, transmit, retrieve and annotate high resolution graphics, text or video images, in real-time, allowing them to easily switch from an interactive mode to application sharing/collaboration for the shared use of most software applications, all over IP networks and the Internet.

To simplify, and automate, course development and meeting graphic automation TeleWRITER-AGS provides a powerful MultiMedia Authoring tool and incorporates a Digital Streaming Recorder to enable the end-user to record the meeting proceedings or distant learning class. A simple editor is included to clean up the session prior to authoring to DVD or uploading to Web Server or Library Archive System.

To meet the single media classroom requirements TeleWRITER Corporation has in its product family, VideoWRITER, a whiteboarding system that includes the MultiMedia Authoring tool to enable users to present their course material to a class or in a distributed learning environment using TeleWRITER-AGS.

The nomination for 'Best of Show' was made by the Arkansas School of Math and Science, (ASMS), Hot Springs, Arkansas, who purchased the new Version 3.03 TeleWRITER-AGS upgrade for the state Office of Distant Education (ODE). Currently, ODE provides distant learning in all K-12 schools and adult education programs throughout the state using the TeleWRITER software system.
