Plan to Create New Airline

A-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported on the plan to set up a new airline to operate in the Gulf region. The paper noted that each of the Gulf States has a national airline except Bahrain, which has headquarters for Gulf Air airlines. The paper noted that airline companies in the Gulf operate about three hundred airplanes and have plan to purchase about two hundred additional planes by the end of 2010.
