"Pc for Every Home" Project

Al-Bayan newspaper quoted Chairman of the Computer Section of the Trade Offices Association Khalil Hassan who said in early August 2005 that about 112,000 personal computers were sold until now as part of the "A PC in every home" project
. The total value of the personal computers sold comes to EP 500 million ($86 million). The Egyptian Bank has budgeted EP 400 million for this project and the Ahali Bank has budgeted EP 100 million. Twenty-five companies operate in this project which supplies work to ten thousand people.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
