That last fight made the 12 bout card full and now all that is left is the wait for August 27th. The event will be way down south in the land of Carnival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil at the HSBC Arena. The Brazilian card is highlighted with the main event being the title event for the middleweight crown with Anderson Silva facing Yushin Okami.

The main card is five bouts with Luiz Cane facing Stanislav Nedkov, Ross Pearson against Edson Barboza, Brendan Schaub facing Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera, Forrest Griffin up against Mauricio Rua and the main event as mentioned earlier Silva defending his crown versus Okami for the title of middleweight champion.

The UFC has had only one event prior to this in Brazil. In October of 1998 the UFC Ultimate Brazil was held and was in the city of Sao Paulo. Recently Dana White the UFC President said the UFC wants to make various trips to Brazil to a number of different cities.

This should be a great event for the UFC after not being in Brazil for close to 13 years. The lineup of bouts is impressive and should make for a great time.
