Corrigent Highlights Its Breakthrough Packet ADM Technology in Multiple Appearances in the US in October

Posted on: Thursday, 6 October 2005, 09:00 CDT

Corrigent Systems, a leading provider of packet-ADMs (Add Drop Multiplexer) for next-generation transport networks, will present different aspects of its Packet ADM technology at several public appearances in October.

WHAT:

Ethernet EXPO 2005

Ethernet EXPO 2005 is the leading US conference and exhibition dedicated to Ethernet in the public network. Ethernet Expo 2005 includes two parts: a conference, with participation of numerous leading US telecom carriers, moderated by analysts from Heavy Reading, and a product exhibition.

Corrigent is participating at the exhibition and on a panel discussing Quality of Service for Ethernet and Triple-Play networks. Corrigent will discuss how triple-play applications pose unique QoS requirements that can be ideally met by a combination of Ethernet, MPLS, RPR and Sonet technologies that are the building blocks of its market leading CM-100 Packet ADM offering.

WHEN:

October 12-14, 2005

WHERE:

Grand Hyatt, New York City

WHO

Gady Rosenfeld, VP Marketing, Corrigent Systems

Online registration to the conference and exhibition is available at: http://www.lightreading.com/live/event_information.asp?survey_id=102

WHAT:

Webinar - Bringing together MPLS and Sonet/SDH

New equipment developments aim to carry pseudowires over next-generation Sonet/SDH infrastructure, enabling incumbent carriers to unify their packet and circuit infrastructures. This Webinar provides a tutorial on the topic, including details of equipment developments. Corrigent will present how MPLS pseudo-wires can be used to converge all carrier services -- Ethernet, TDM and storage, over a common packet transport infrastructure to allow carriers to migrate their revenue generating services to a packet-optimized network solution.

WHEN:

Tuesday, October 11th, 2005, 12:00 p.m. EST

WHO

Dr. Luis Aguirre-Torres, Director Product Marketing, Corrigent Systems

Online registration to the webinar is available at: http://www.lightreading.com/webinar.asp?doc_id=27536

WHAT:

Presentation: Using Network Processors in 10Gbps Packet ADM Ring Switching, Network Systems Design Conference

Network Systems Design Conference covers a wide range of networking components and system design topics, including metro Ethernet, 10Gbps applications, traffic management, packet processors and more.

Corrigent, whose leadership position in deployment of metro transport equipment in the emerging 10Gbps market segment has been recognized by independent analysts, will discuss the requirements for traffic aggregation and inspection in 10Gbps optical communications equipment. The presentation will focus on a network processor's role in packetizing TDM circuits. and maintaining QoS across metro networks.

WHEN:

Wednesday, October 19th, 2005

WHERE:

Parkside Hall, San Jose
