ATA Reports September Scheduled Service Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- ATA Airlines, Inc., the principal subsidiary of ATA Holdings Corp. (ATAHQ), today reported that September scheduled service traffic decreased 44.6 percent from 2004 to 477.4 million RPMs (revenue passenger miles). Capacity decreased 44.8 percent compared to 2004 to 672.9 million ASMs (available seat miles). ATA's September scheduled service passenger load factor increased 0.2 points to 70.9 percent. There were 393,345 passengers enplaned in September, a decrease of 42.8 percent.
As of September 30, 2005, ATA has a fleet of 20 Boeing 737-800s, six Boeing 757-200s, nine Boeing 757-300s and five Lockheed L-1011s.
