Oct. 4--American Airlines will discontinue one of six weekday flights to Chicago from Rochester in November, shortening the local outbound schedule to five flights.
American also will continue its newest, daily route to Dallas-Fort Worth. Robin Barlow, American's branch manager at Rochester International Airport, this morning said the change is "just part of our scheduling.""We've always gotten it back," she said.
Among other time changes, the first outgoing flight will depart about a half-hour earlier, according to the schedule on American's Web site. American Airlines service to and from Rochester is flown by American Eagle, its feeder air carrier.
