Public Media Works Inc. Completes Purchase of Assets From World Equities LLC

VAN NUYS, Calif., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Public Media Works, Inc. ("PMWI" or the "Company") (BULLETIN BOARD: PMWI) announced the completion of its purchase of assets from World Equities LLC. The acquisition includes several television shows and music projects in various stages of development.
The Company's near term focus will be on two of the acquired projects. One of the priority projects is entitled "Run and Gun" and is a reality show about the movie making experience where two competing teams of young film makers are given the exact same script and budget to complete a full length feature film. The winning team is chosen by the viewing audience via text messaging and a call in number, as well Internet votes, where much of the action will play out between episodes. The other priority project is entitled "A Taste of History." This show comes with a completed pilot episode and is ready for presentation to Cable Outlets that are geared towards Food or History as the show's premise is to explore and reveal the history of some of our "favorite dishes."
"While we are obviously looking at further development of both of these projects, as well as others from World Equities for television broadcast and cable, we also continue to explore the emerging and innovative 'first run DVD market' where a television type series could go straight to DVD, bypassing a television exhibition altogether.
