Integra Technologies LLC Announces Commencement of Operations

WICHITA, Kan., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Integra Technologies LLC today announced the commencement of operations at its Wichita, Kansas-based testing facility to perform semiconductor testing on devices for commercial, military, and avionics applications. The management team of Becky Craft, Kent Wade, Mark Marshall, and Joe Holt completed a management buyout of Amkor Technology's Wichita, KS and Santa Clara, CA testing operations.
The sale will allow Integra to sharpen its focus on its key domestic market niches. Integra participates in three primary test market segments; semiconductor manufacturers, commercial avionics manufacturers, and military equipment manufacturers. The sale will allow Integra to pursue new opportunities and invest in those strategic markets. Integra and Amkor plan to maintain a business relationship and capitalize on synergies for the domestic commercial semiconductor market.
"Our US-based testing operations have a long track record of providing quality test services to many of Amkor's smaller US commercial semiconductor customers and Amkor's intention is to maintain a relationship with Integra in support of these customers," according to Seyed Paransun, Amkor's Senior Vice President of World Wide Test.
