Hub Provides E1/DS1 Conversion and Neutral Carrier Interconnection Service

Global Internetworking, Inc. (GII), a facilities-neutral network solutions provider, headquartered in McLean, Virginia, today at the CompTel/ASCENT trade show here announced expansion of its carrier-neutral telecom services for enterprises, carriers and service providers operating in Latin America and other international telecommunications markets with the turn-up of GII's new network hub in Miami.

At the new Global Internetworking Miami Hub, the company is providing carrier-neutral interconnection services and conversion of E1 (2 megabits per second) service commonly used outside the U.S. to the DS1 standard (1.54 megabits per second). With this announcement, GII provides service that can offer seamless connectivity between the U.S. and Latin America as well as Western Europe and Asia.

Through its Miami Hub, Global Internetworking is able to provide customers operating in Latin America and other international locations with cost-effective telecom services throughout the U.S. as a result of its relationships with hundreds of facilities-based carriers. Global Internetworking is also able to provide real-time pricing of point-to-point circuits and other telecom services within the United States through its Pop2Pop.com(SM) web portal.

GII is able to provide customers with extremely cost-effective broadband data transport services, greater vendor diversity and faster provisioning time than the industry norm as a result of GII's relationships with hundreds of facilities-based carriers and the company's team of experienced network provisioning experts. In addition to the new Miami Hub, Global Internetworking also has hubs in New York and Los Angeles.

"Customer demand prompted us to establish the Miami Hub and expand our portfolio of services in the U.S., Europe and Asia to Latin America," said Todd Vecchio, Global Internetworking's president.

He said: "Through the new Miami Hub, as a facilities-neutral network solutions provider we are able to offer the Latin American and other international markets maximum flexibility and vendor diversity while reducing the costs of entering new U.S. markets."
