The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the world's largest user knowledgebase for Oracle(R) Applications users, hosts the Oracle Applications and Technology Symposium (OATS) in Chicago on October 27 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

OATS-Chicago is a one-day training event that enables attendees to learn more about the Oracle Applications product stack. At the event, more than 20 sessions will focus on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and the use of technology applications in government, the public sector and higher education.

Session topics include integration solutions between PeopleSoft and Oracle E-Business Suite, Release 11i security and developing a successful CRM strategy. These sessions will be led by organizations such as Oracle Support Services, Oracle CRM Strategy Group, Solution Beacon, AST Corp. and Chicago Public Schools.

"OATS-Chicago enables attendees to expand their knowledge about Oracle Applications and gain practical skills needed to enhance their effectiveness in the workplace," said Patricia Dues, president of the OAUG. "Participation creates an opportunity for members to network with each other while also learning how to get more from their Oracle Applications."

The next OAUG regional event, OAUG Apps Forum 2006 -- Brussels, is scheduled for February 2006. For more information about OATS, OAUG's regional events or to register, visit the OAUG's Web site at www.oaug.org.
