Secure Software Launches Global Partnership Program

Foundstone, a Division of McAfee, Inc., Joins Alliance as Security Services Partner; Implements Secure Software's CodeAssure Product Suite and CLASP Process into its Application Testing Services and Training Sessions

Secure Software, an authority in automated application security products and process technology, today launched the Secure Software Alliance. The Secure Software Alliance is a global partnership program designed to promote the adoption of better application security testing tools and processes for improving the overall security of in-development software and pre-deployment applications. Foundstone, a division of McAfee, Inc., a leader in application security testing services and education, is the first security services company to join Secure Software's partner program.

Foundstone will integrate Secure Software's CodeAssure product suite, an automated application security testing tool, and CLASP (Comprehensive, Lightweight Application Security Process) into the company's existing application security testing services and training offerings. The partnership equips Foundstone consultants with the most comprehensive, accurate testing solution on the market and solidifies Secure Software's process-oriented approach to software security as the leading method for locating and remedying vulnerabilities during the development lifecycle.

Foundstone joins the Secure Software Partner Program as a Security Services Partner. There are four different categories of participation in the Secure Software Alliance:

-- Security Services Partners--Companies including Foundstone, licensing the CodeAssure Suite as the premier Application Security analysis tool.

-- Technology Partners--Companies needing product integration for Secure Software's CodeAssure(TM) Product Suite.

-- CLASP Contributing Members--Companies contributing time and customer experience to the overall improvement of Secure Software's Comprehensive, Lightweight Application Security Process. CLASP is the software industry's first standard roadmap for integrating security testing and processes into existing software development lifecycles.
