Ricki Lake Looks to Spill Back into TV

Ricki Lake is close to re-entering the TV talk arena, Broadcasting and Cable reports.
The industry trade magazine says Lake -- whose long-running eponymous show pitched to younger audience for 11 seasons -- has three studios interested in her latest incarnation aimed toward women in her age group.
Lake was in her mid-20's when she launched her first show in 1993. Now, she's a 37-year-old divorced mother, with plenty of demographic peers still lurking in TV viewership land.
I would be very surprised if there was not a coming-to-terms on this by the end of the month, a source told the magazine.
