Vent-Axia Sales Team Increases Effectiveness Using Salesnet's Integration-As-A-Service(TM); Automated Process Driven Solution Provides 360 View Of Customer Activity Via The Web

Posted on: Monday, 17 October 2005, 09:00 CDT

Salesnet, the leading provider of on-demand CRM software focused on driving sales effectiveness, and Entelegen, Europe's leading provider of outsourced services for sales effectiveness, today announced Vent-Axia's successful deployment of Salesnet's Integration-as-a-Service(TM). Vent-Axia, the UK's number one residential, commercial and industrial ventilation company, deployed Salesnet across their sales organization to streamline processes and eliminate a paper-based system.

By leveraging Salesnet's Integration-as-a-Service, Vent-Axia's national sales team can operate more efficiently by accessing key customer information that resides across its internal systems all via the Web. Entelegen, the Premier Partner for Salesnet in the UK, deployed the solution for Vent-Axia in a matter of weeks. Through the entire implementation process, Vent-Axia did not require a single consultant on-site.

"Our sales team relied on paper-based systems to manage customer contact and provide forecasts back to the executive team, but it wasn't working for our customers or for the business," says Steve Helm, Business Analyst at Vent-Axia. "Working with Salesnet enables us to define significantly better processes for handling incoming inquiries, assigning and responding to customer tenders, quickly turning around pricing requests and more. It has helped us build a Best Practice for sales in the same way we assure quality in all other parts of our business; now the sales team is working as a team."

Salesnet's Integration-as-a-Service allows for a direct interface between Vent-Axia's client/server-based ERP system, and the sales team. The mobile sales team now has access to critical customer data in the ERP system. The integration component of implementation was easy to acquire and implement, and is end-user configurable by using Salesnet's clicks-not-code(TM).

"Vent-Axia's use of Salesnet has demonstrated that any company can give their sales team a system focused towards driving sales, while it also acts as a conduit to relevant information across other systems in the enterprise," said Jonathan Tang, President and Co-Founder of Salesnet. "Now the benefits of empowerment have been added to those of good process - Vent-Axia has proven Salesnet's solutions provide a competitive difference in supplying needed information, organizing efforts and generating sales team results."
