Fire Destroys Several Charter Buses at Norfolk Company

Oct. 18--NORFOLK -- A fire at a charter bus company destroyed several vehicles early Monday.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters were called to Charter Bus Service in the 7500 block of Sewells Point Road at 2:30 a.m. They fought the fire until about 3:15 a.m., said Capt. Garry Windley, a spokesman for Norfolk Fire-Rescue.
Several buses were destroyed or damaged by the flames, John Fitzgerald, the company president, said.
