Acterna Announces New Head of India Sales Operations
GERMANTOWN, Md. & NEW DELHI, India–(BUSINESS WIRE)–June 23, 2003–Acterna, a subsidiary of Acterna Corp., today announced the appointment of Irfan Modak to the position of national sales manager for Acterna’s India regional operations. In this role, Modak will be responsible for leading all customer operations in New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. The appointment underscores the company’s commitment to providing the very best leadership to effectively address the dynamic Indian communications industry, a strategic market for Acterna in Asia Pacific. Modak will still maintain his prior role as regional manager of Western India.
Modak brings more than 15 years of sales management and business development experience in the communications industry. He joined Acterna in 2001 after having served in various executive level positions within the test and measurement divisions of Agilent and Hewlett Packard. Modak is based in Mumbai, India.
