Spirit Airlines, Fort Lauderdale’s hometown airline, plans to operate a full schedule today, Thursday, October 27, 2005 bringing locals and visitors where they need to go.

Operational Accomplishments -- Flew 2 flights into West Palm Beach yesterday, 10/26, and then positioned the airplanes to Fort Lauderdale to be able to fly out 1st thing Thursday when Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport opened -- Will run a complete schedule today and are running full in and out of Fort Lauderdale -- Started rescue flights in and out of Cancun this morning; will run 2 flights tomorrow -- Spiritair.com and reservations line ran uninterrupted through the storm and its aftermath helping locals and visitors to book their travel needs Local News -- Spirit Airlines' headquarters is running on generator power -- Supplies are being flown in from other markets -- Hundreds of South Florida employees are back at work -- Management serving lunch for workers at headquarters -- Hamburgers yesterday -- Fajitas today -- Hot Dogs and brats tomorrow
