On Oct. 17, Computer Associates announced that it had acquired closely held iLumin Software Services, whose software enables secure legal documents to be sent over the Internet.
Terms of the deal for the 9-year-old software maker were not disclosed, according to the original news release.
A few days later, however, CA came clean in the government filing, saying the acquisition of the Reston, Va., company cost about $47.35 million, including assumption of debt.
