Wincor Nixdorf, one of the world's leading suppliers of IT solutions for the banking and retail industries, today announced the availability of its iBISTRO QSR point-of-sale (POS) and back-office software solution for the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry.
Highly efficient and easy-to-use, iBISTRO features a modular design and open architecture that adapts to future requirements, allowing QSR operators to maximize and protect their POS investments. iBISTRO offers customizable menu screens, supports multiple drive-thru configurations, and includes suggestive sale prompting and powerful promotions management capabilities -- all designed to improve customer service and increase sales.
"The introduction of iBISTRO QSR further demonstrates Wincor's commitment to offer robust, end-to-end solutions for the U.S. hospitality industry. Today's QSR operators require a store system that optimizes productivity and decreases operating costs. With the inherent efficiency, ease of use and innovative features of iBISTRO, store operators will be able to take their stores to the next level," said Doug Evans, vice president of retail, Wincor Nixdorf USA.
iBISTRO QSR can be configured for all sizes and types of operations, from small chains to regional or nationwide chains. The software consists of five modules -- POS Client, Manager's Workstation, Store Controller, Enterprise Controller, and Menu Manager. Features include:
-- True multi-concept capabilities that allow QSR operators to manage multiple brands at a single location.
-- Flexible screen configurations with multiple button colors and sizes, and drop-down ingredient lists that allow employees to easily modify orders.
-- Support for online credit and automatic updates.
-- Store reporting features, ranging from basic sales, labor and exception reports with Manager's Workstation to real-time sales reporting and full labor scheduling and reporting with Store Controller.
-- Centralized control of all stores (software updates, menu changes, consolidated financials) with Enterprise Controller.
iBISTRO QSR will be demonstrated at FS/TEC 2005, booth #1125 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, Grapevine, Texas, November 6-9.
