ATA Reports October Scheduled Service Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 4, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- ATA Airlines, Inc., the principal subsidiary of ATA Holdings Corp. (Pink Sheets:ATAHQ), today reported that October scheduled service traffic decreased 49.1 percent from 2004 to 504.5 million RPMs (revenue passenger miles). Capacity decreased 50.3 percent compared to 2004 to 689.5 million ASMs (available seat miles). ATA's October scheduled service passenger load factor increased 1.8 points to 73.2 percent. There were 409,734 passengers enplaned in October, a decrease of 49.4 percent.
As of October 31, 2005, ATA has a fleet of 19 Boeing 737-800s, 6 Boeing 757-200s, 7 Boeing 757-300s and five Lockheed L-1011s.
