Robert Behn to Lead Tech Data's U.S. Networking Product Marketing Division

Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ:TECD), a leading IT products distributor, today named Robert Behn vice president, Product Marketing. In this role, reporting to Senior Vice President, U.S. Marketing Bob O'Malley, he will oversee the company's U.S. networking business including infrastructure hardware, wireless, security and IP telephony solutions.
Behn brings nearly two decades of industry experience to Tech Data. Most recently, Behn was director, Hi-Reliability Marketing for Arrow Electronics, a global electronic components and computer products distributor, where he led initiatives ranging from the company's Hi-Rel Connector Value-Add Assembly Program, End-of-Life Supply Assurance Program and specialized inside sales team. Other senior-level positions with Arrow included director, Product Management; director, Strategic Programs; and Segment Business director. Behn's background also includes sales management positions with Arrow and field sales experience with Hall-Mark Electronics Corp., which was later acquired by Avnet Inc. in 1993. A graduate of State University of New York at Buffalo, Behn earned a bachelor's degree in history.
