Wincor Nixdorf to Showcase "The ATM as a Powerful Delivery Channel" at Retail Delivery Conference & Expo 2005
Wincor Nixdorf, celebrating its 10th anniversary attending BAI's Retail Delivery, will highlight its latest hardware and software technologies to meet new and existing challenges in the retail financial industry at the 28th Annual Retail Delivery Conference and Expo, November 15-17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida in booth #1161.
"Over the past 10 years, Retail Delivery has provided a unique forum for Wincor Nixdorf to demonstrate our full range of solutions to the U.S. marketplace," said Karl-Heinz Stiller, CEO, Wincor Nixdorf. "Our ATMs, software and other automated solutions have taken center stage worldwide in improving customer service and driving new operating efficiencies at the branch level. Wincor Nixdorf is looking forward to continuing to showcase our solutions that are taking productivity to the next level at banks in the U.S. and around the world."
"We are excited to demonstrate how our innovative banking solutions can help our customers become more productive and quickly deploy applications with the tools available from Wincor Nixdorf," said John Tyler, Vice President, Wincor Nixdorf Banking USA. "We have demonstrated our commitment to the U.S. market for over 10 years now, and our success is validating that we are hitting the mark with our hardware, software, and services."
Under the theme "The ATM as a Powerful Delivery Channel," Wincor Nixdorf will demonstrate its extensive product range, from ATM and Automated Teller Safe solutions to a complete line of software offerings that improve branch efficiency. Highlights of Wincor Nixdorf's demonstrations include:
ATM Security Solutions: Wincor Nixdorf has designed solutions for financial institutions to help protect customers from the problem of ATM fraud. One of these solutions, the Anti-Skimming Device, uses special sensors to check the entire area around the card input slot for intrusion mechanisms. This security module is mounted in the automated teller machine and cannot be seen from outside the ATM. The anti-skimming device prevents unauthorized entry, safeguards customers' financial data, and ultimately provides savings to financial institutions.
Wincor Nixdorf will demonstrate its ProTect/Enterprise software solution which protects ATM fleets from unauthorized access. ProTect/Enterprise can decrease operational costs by avoiding expensive site visits, and increases security through distribution of master keys from a central point of administration.
Solutions for Branch Efficiency: All financial institutions have one common goal: to have an efficient and secure bank branch operation. With Wincor Nixdorf's ProCash/FOnet (Front Office Network), financial institutions now have an easy-to-integrate banking software solution. ProCash FOnet offers a low-cost alternative for financial institutions that want to migrate their cash transactions to self-service machines. The use of self-service devices -- even for teller-based transactions -- offers both great savings potential and expanded sales opportunities for branch personnel.
Wincor Nixdorf will highlight its Java-based daNCe (Device Architecture in a Network-Centric Environment) software solution. Wincor's daNCe offers state-of-the-art applications in front-office enhancements for administration, configuration and installation based on current standards, and unites a standardized platform with functional, innovative software applications.
Customer Relationship Management Solutions: Wincor Nixdorf will demonstrate its advertising and CRM solutions. The ProClassic/ProSales Solution from Wincor Nixdorf allows financial institutions to make direct, personalized contact with customers at the ATM, including advertisements, messages, surveys or other information. With ProClassic/ProSales, the customer's response is delivered directly to the marketing system and acts as the link between a bank's CRM system and its ATM network -- allowing banks to generate revenue with third-party advertising, reduce advertising costs, and increase customer loyalty.
Wincor Nixdorf's one-to-one marketing solution allows banks to offer customer account preferences, such as selection of "usual transaction" dollar amounts, language preference, choice of printing of receipts, and choice of card return sequence. It also allows banks to increase customer loyalty by gathering customer preferences for personalized advertising.
ATM Hardware Solutions: Wincor Nixdorf will highlight its complete end-to-end check imaging solution, the Check/Cash Deposit Module (CCDM). Wincor Nixdorf's CCDM is where self-service and automation come together. The CCDM allows customers to make bulk deposits of checks or cash -- up to 50 checks or bank notes -- without a deposit envelope. With the CCDM, an entirely new class of depositors, merchant customers, can now use the same convenient self-service solution as consumers. The CCDM can turn an ATM fleet into automated deposit stations -- delivering faster customer service and lowering branch operating costs.
In addition, Wincor Nixdorf will demonstrate its line of comprehensive ProCash ATMs, including its cash recycling, cash dispensing, and kiosk systems, as well as a demonstration of the ProCash 2100 with Check 21 end-to-end capabilities. Wincor Nixdorf will also feature its complete line of automated teller safes, designed for front office and self service functions in the branch environment.
Multi-Vendor Software Solutions: Wincor Nixdorf's ProClassic/Enterprise multi-vendor and multi-channel software allows financial institutions to manage their ATM fleets around the clock. Based on the international J2EE standard, ProClassic/Enterprise supports all channels from one application and provides customers with a single point of software distribution for repairs instead of depending on costly technicians -- providing valuable time and cost savings to the branch.
