TV Guide Channel, the premier entertainment network covering the best programs, hottest stars and latest trends on television, today announced three new appointments to its programming and production team: Matt Singerman joins as senior vice president, Programming and Production; Kristin Peace has been named vice president, Development; and Dmitri Ponomarev has been named vice president, On Demand. All three executives will be based at TV Guide Channel's Los Angeles headquarters. Mr. Singerman and Mr. Ponomarev will report to Channel President Ryan O'Hara. Ms. Peace will report to Mr. Singerman. The appointments are part of TV Guide Channel's ramp-up of original programming, which has yielded rating increases of up to 25% in key demos this year.

"TV Guide Channel has made tremendous strides this year in terms of bolstering our content and raising our profile with viewers, which has led to consistent upticks in ratings, especially among adults 18-34; this is definitely a channel on the move," said O'Hara. "Matt, Kristin and Dmitri are important additions to this team and I know we will benefit from their experience, creativity and enthusiasm as we continue to grow the Channel and our on-demand offerings."

As the Channel enters its next phase of growth, Mr. Singerman assumes his role from Danila Koverman, current SVP of Programming and Production, who joined the network in order to see it through its initial re-launch phase, which began in January 2004. Said O'Hara: "For the past two years, Danila has been instrumental in relaunching TV Guide Channel, bringing energy and enthusiasm to her lead role in creating a vibrant entertainment network. She has also been key in securing strong talent, namely Joan and Melissa Rivers, and her role in producing our Red Carpet programming has helped consistently deliver the network's highest ratings. Danila will remain hands-on to ensure a smooth transition with Matt, and I look forward to continuing to explore creative collaborations with her."

Matt Singerman was most recently executive producer of Fox News Channel's top-rated cable morning show, Fox & Friends. In his new post, he will oversee all aspects of TV Guide Channel's programming and production, including current series and specials, content development and talent.
