Teamstudio(R), the global leader in developing software integrity solutions for Lotus Notes development organizations, announces today the release of Teamstudio Edition 22. This major feature release marks the full support of Lotus Notes(R) and Domino(R) 7 (ND7) for all Teamstudio products, and support for two new IBM server platforms, AIX and iSeries, with Teamstudio CIAO! and Teamstudio Snapper.
The updates to the Teamstudio Edition 22 tool suite ensures users currently operating on Lotus Notes and Domino platforms receive full ND7 support. With the current updates, Teamstudio Edition 22 provides users with tools to help improve productivity by enabling users to work more efficiently.
"As the Notes and Domino operating environment becomes more complex, the importance of data integrity and security must become an organizations top priority," said Craig Schumann, Teamstudio software engineer and team leader. "Teamstudio Edition 22 provides organizations with the tools to create a secure, easy-to-use Notes and Domino operating environment."
The Teamstudio Edition 22 tool suite includes updates to Teamstudio Resolver, Teamstudio Validator, Teamstudio CIAO! Server Edition and Teamstudio Snapper Server Edition. These new product features include:
-- Teamstudio CIAO! Server Edition v2.35 and Teamstudio Snapper Server Edition v1.25 now support Domino on IBM iSeries and IBM AIX servers. Users of Teamstudio CIAO! Server Edition benefit from receiving valuable server-side security for database designs. Teamstudio Snapper Server Edition processes server-based databases to keep track of changes to databases via scheduled snapshots and a dynamically maintained undo buffer.
-- Teamstudio Validator v1.25 now features a button within the Validator reports that will launch Teamstudio Resolver (if installed) to help fix replication/save conflicts. Teamstudio Validator acts as a maintenance tool for an existing application where design changes have occurred. Users receive detailed reports on errors, error descriptions and document links to actual documents.
-- Teamstudio Resolver v1.50 now enables users to select only one document for ease-of-use when resolving conflicts. Also, users without delete access to a database can use Teamstudio Resolver to copy documents to a folder. Teamstudio Resolver allows users to quickly resolve replication/save conflicts in database documents.
