Ukrainian State Radio Receives Satellite Broadcasting License

Kiev, 9 November: The National Council for TV and Radio Broadcasting has issued satellite broadcasting licenses to the National Radio Company of Ukraine and the TV company Svit.
In particular, the UR-1, UR-2, UR-3 radio stations and a number of programmes of Radio Ukraine International received licenses.
The first deputy head of the National Council, Yuriy Storozhuk, told a briefing today that this means that "the National Radio Company will be able to use more up-to-date means to transmit its signal".
