Iowa Telecom to Present at Lehman Brothers Second Annual Small Cap Conference

Iowa Telecommunications Services, Inc. (NYSE: IWA) today announced it will participate in the Lehman Brothers Second Annual Small Cap Conference in Carlsbad, California on Wednesday, November 16, 2005. Alan L. Wells, Iowa Telecom president and chief executive officer, and Craig A. Knock, Iowa Telecom vice president and chief financial officer, will be speaking at the conference.

An online simulcast and replay of the Company's presentation will be available at 11:40 a.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 on the Company's website at www.IowaTelecom.com under "Investor Relations".
