Network World Announces IT Roadmap Conference & Expo; Research Reveals Need for Multi-Topic Local Events
Posted on: Thursday, 10 November 2005, 12:00 CST
Network World, Inc., announced the addition of IT Roadmap Conference & Expo, a unique product offering in Network World Live's extensive portfolio of events and executive forums. The decision to expand the popular IT Roadmap conference from once a year to four times a year in four major parts of the country (Boston, Chicago, Dallas and Bay Area) was based on the results of an independent research survey by Research Concepts in June 2005.
"The survey provided a clear indication of what Network IT Executives want," said Neal Silverman, executive vice president, Network World Live. "Based on responses from more than 1,000 Network IT decision-makers, we've developed an in-depth multi-topic event that will go to four major metropolitan areas - Boston, Chicago, Dallas and the Bay Area. Attendees want conferences that are reachable by car or train - requiring no overnight stay. They want content from a variety of experts, including best-practice case studies from experienced end-users, insight from top industry analysts, real-world solutions from key technology providers and unbiased commentary from trusted columnists and reporters, all of which will be delivered in IT Roadmap."
IT Roadmap Conference & Expo brings the pages of Network World to life! Each conference explores six critical topics identified as the highest priorities to Network IT decision-makers as they plan their own IT roadmap and architect best practice solutions for their company. This year's topics include Security, Wireless and Mobility, WAN/Application Acceleration, Storage and Servers, VoIP and Collaboration, and Network Management. In addition to Network World's award-winning editorial experts presenting, there will be an end-user panel of Network World All-Star Award Winners - Network IT end-users who have implemented major problem-solving technologies - talking about their architectures and selection criteria.
The first IT Roadmap Conference & Expo launches March 20 in Boston, at the Marriott Copley Hotel. For a complete calendar of Network World Live events, visit http://www.networkworld.com/events/techtour.html.
