Train accident kills two in Finland

HELSINKI, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) — A train accident occurred at a level-crossing about 480 km northwest of the capital where a passenger train hit a cattle truck on Thursday, killing two in the truck, a railway spokesman said.

Nobody was hurt in the train which was traveling between Oulu in northern Finland and Helsinki. Passengers were transferred to buses to get to their destinations. However, two people on the truck were killed.

The railway line has been shut down and cleared after the accident, and rail services would resume later on the day, the spokesman said.
