Plane runs out of runway, delays other flights in north China province
TAIYUAN, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- A passenger plane ran out of runway in a north China's airport Sunday evening, leaving no casualties but forcing a close of the airport, sources said.
The plane was going to land on the Wusu Airport in Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province, at approximately 7 p.m. when the accident happened, sources with the airport said, adding that some other flights were delayed after the accident.
In addition, the flights that are going to take off tonight at the airport have been canceled, sources said.
The plane is staying at the lawn beside the runway, waiting for investigation.
