Posted on: Monday, 14 November 2005, 12:00 CST

France Telecom has just been selected by Capgemini France SAS ("Capgemini"), for a deal worth 200MEUR over nine and a half years.

Capgemini who signed in November 2004 a 10 years Outsourcing contract with Schneider Electric Industries ("Schneider Electric") relies on its core partner France Telecom, with its subsidiaries Orange and Equant, to transform Schneider Electric's pan European network. The new solution will replace existing multi-domestic multi provider network solutions to provide homogeneous network solutions across Europe enabling Capgemini's transformation program.

France Telecom and Capgemini signed a master Cooperation and Services agreement related to telecommunications systems and services in Europe for Schneider Electric in connection with the transformation program. It covers 500 sites in 31 countries and covers both data and voice Network Services.

The strong presence of the France Telecom Group across Europe, especially for data and mobile, as well as a long relationship with Schneider Electric in France, has been key to the success of this deal.

Capgemini, one of the world's foremost providers of Consulting, Technology and Outsourcing services, reported 2004 global revenues of 6.3 billion euros and employs approximately 60,000 people worldwide.
