AskMeNow, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ocean West Holding Corporation (OTCBB: OWHC) today announced an agreement with CellularOnly--authorized dealer of T-Mobile, Cingular and Sprint Nextel wireless service providers--to pre-install the AskMeNow service on all new mobile phones purchased at any of its nine locations in the greater New York area.
AskMeNow will provide CellularOnly customers the ability to simply call or text a question from their mobile phone or device by selecting an automated template for basic questions such as directory assistance, weather, stocks, directions, sports scores, news, comparison shopping and more for FREE. Or select the AskMeAnything feature and for a small automated fee of 49 cents, AnswerAgents(SM) will research the answer to virtually any question.
In addition, AskMeNow will be running a nationwide promotion during December, in which any new AskMeNow customer will be automatically entered to win a free mobile phone. One winner will be randomly chosen each day beginning December 1st for a period of 30 days. Winners will have the choice of three phones--the BlackBerry 7290 (retailed at $349.99), the Motorola RAZR (retailed at $249.99) or the Nokia 6101 (retailed at $149.99) provided by CellularOnly.
"CellularOnly is excited to offer AskMeNow to our customers." said Sachin Pawa, Vice President of CellularOnly. "We are always looking for ways to differentiate our offering in this highly competitive industry. By bundling AskMeNow we are providing our customers with a highly valued service."
"Our agreement with CellularOnly is an example of the type of creative distribution that we will utilize to introduce AskMeNow to customers across the country," said Walter Kostiak, AskMeNow VP of Global Business Development. "Since AskMeNow is the ultimate local information resource, we are pleased to be working with the leading local reseller in the New York area."
