Sycamore Networks Announces Q1 Fiscal Year 2006 Financial Results Release Date and Webcast Information

Sycamore Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:SCMR), a leader in optical networking, today announced that the Company will report its first quarter fiscal year 2006 financial results for the period ending October 29, 2005, on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, prior to market open.

In conjunction with the release of its first quarter fiscal year 2006 financial results, Sycamore will host a conference call for investors at 8:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, November 29, 2005.
