'Grey's Anatomy' Sews Up a Turkey Hunt; Hope Floats on 'Poseidon Adventure' Remake

Redecorating on a budget of zero becomes a reality in HGTV's new homemakeover series "Freestyle," airing at 8:30 p.m. Friday on cable channel 31. Aaron Foster is host.

A ghost is literally giving Melinda a headache on "Ghost Whisperer," 7 p.m. Friday on CBS, channel 6.

Bernie imposes a lockdown for the misbehaving children on "The Bernie Mac Show," 7 Friday on Fox, channel 23 and cable channel 5.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renee Zellweger kick up their heels twice on Friday night. They star in the Oscar-winning musical "Chicago" at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Friday on Bravo, cable channel 46.

A power outage derails Lois' best-laid plans for an anniversary dinner on "Malcolm in the Middle," airing at 7:30 p.m. Friday on Fox, channel 23 and cable channel 5.

Robert Wagner guest-stars as the girls' father who returns for Thanksgiving on "Hope & Faith," 8 p.m. Friday on ABC, channel 8.

Hospital patients fall victim to a mysterious "angel of death" on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," 9 p.m. Friday on NBC, channel 2 and cable channel 9. Rosanna Arquette also guest-stars.

Since Saturday is bereft of new series episodes, it's movies, movies, movies.

Ralph Macchio and Mitchell Whitfield have the worst luck in "My Cousin Vinny," 6 p.m. Saturday on Comedy central, cable channel 61. Their characters go on vacation, are mistaken for murderers and find themselves represented by a cousin/attorney (Joe Pesci) who brings along his girlfriend, Mona Lisa Vito (Oscar winner Marisa Tomei.)

To prepare yourself for the release of the new Harry Potter film, ABC is rebroadcasting "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" at 7 p.m. Saturday on channel 8. Boy wizard Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and friends at Hogwarts find themelves threatened by He-Who-Must-Not-Be- Named and some really nasty spiders.

John Travolta feels like dancin' in the 1977 disco flick "Saturday Night Fever," airing at 7 p.m. Saturday on the WB, channel 19 and cable channel 12.

Nicolas Cage is on the trail of someone trying to steal the Declaration of Independence in "National Treasure," airing at 8 p.m. Saturday on Starz, pay digital channel 390.

Derek Luke stars as a sailor whose temper erupts in violent outbursts and is sent to a naval psychiatrist (Denzel Washington) for help in "Antwone Fisher," airing at 7 p.m. Saturday on AMC, cable channel 48. Inspired by a true story, this psychological drama sends the young man on a journey of hope.

Chick flick alert: Reese Witherspoon, who debuts this week with her portrayal of June Carter Cash in the new film "Walk the Line," is a underestimated fashion major with both a brain and good looks in the hit comedy "Legally Blonde," airing at 9 p.m. Saturday on TBS, cable channel 13.

Then, at 11 p.m. on the same channel, ESPN producer Jonathan Trager (John Cusack) and British psychologist Sara Thomas (Kate Beckinsale) bump into each other while shopping for presents for their respective spouses-to-be, and fate takes a hand in "Serendipity."

Desperate housewife Eva Longoria is the host with musical guest Korn on "Saturday Night Live," at 10:30 p.m. Saturday on NBC, channel 2 and cable channel 9.

NBC's "The Poseidon Adventure" floats the prospect of an ocean liner capsizing at 7 p.m. Sunday on NBC, channel 2 and cable channel 9. Adam Baldwin, Alexa Hamilton, Rutger Hauer, C. Thomas Howell and Steve Guttenberg star in this remake of the 1972 disaster film.

Mary Tyler Moore returns to the small screen in the holiday heartwarmer "Snow Wonder," airing at 8 p.m. Sunday on CBS, channel 6.

Ann-Marie Duff continues her winning portrayal as British monarch Elizabeth I surrounded by a court of intrigue in "Masterpiece Theatre: The Virgin Queen," concluding at 8 p.m. Sunday on PBS, channel 11.

Just for starters, there's an intruder on the loose on Wisteria Lane, Susan learns a shocking secret about her father at her mother's wedding, Bree's and George's romance is in for a bumpy ride and Gabrielle learns to let go on "Desperate Housewives," airing at 8 p.m. Sunday on ABC, channel 8. Bob Newhart and Lesley Ann Warren guest star.

There's not a lot of thanks in Thanksgiving for the surgical interns on "Grey's Anatomy," 9 p.m. Sunday on ABC, channel 8. Izzy is planning a dinner no one may attend, George has to hunt turkeys with his family and Meredith has a patient who has been in a vegetative state for 16 years.

Be prepared to say hail and farewell to "Rome" at 8 p.m. Sunday on HBO, pay digital channel 300. New episodes won't appear again until 2007. Fresh from their accolades at the arena, Pullo and Vorenus become heroes to the citizens and warrant a reward from Caesar. Pullo returns to the house of Vorenus much to the horror of his former slave Eirene whose fiance he killed. Caesar adds new faces to a none-too-happy Senate and Servilia puts into motion the final stage of her revenge. (FYI: The series finale repeats at 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 p.m. Wednesday on HBO.)
