Siperian Enables LexisNexis(R) to Create Comprehensive View of Subscribers: Consolidates 9 Customer Data Sources in Only 8 Months

SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Siperian Inc., a leading customer data integration and management solution provider, today announced that LexisNexis(R) (http://www.lexisnexis.com/), a leading provider of legal, news and business information services, has deployed Siperian Master Reference Manager(TM) (MRM) to create a central repository of its North American Legal Market unit's subscriber data. Since its rollout, Siperian MRM has improved LexisNexis data reliability across systems by greatly reducing duplicate information and consolidating data to create the best version of truth. As a result, LexisNexis has enhanced support for marketing campaigns and increased revenue by avoiding missed sales opportunities. Working with the LexisNexis team, Siperian implemented the entire solution in approximately eight months. Customer data was integrated from nine different sources to create a customer master data store, which was synchronized across five systems in real-time and batch mode. A critical element of success proved to be the extensive flexibility of Siperian's data model. Siperian MRM enabled the team to develop a custom data model that was able to capture all the elements of contributing data sources. The design of the data model took less than four weeks to develop and was significantly easier than identifying data in all the systems that needed to be integrated. The ongoing management of the common customer data was simplified and automated through the Siperian intuitive user interface. Data stewards can now handle data conflicts through an exception handling process using a dedicated console. Also, the system is completely configurable with rules- based approach with no need for writing any programming code -- offering LexisNexis the ability to add other internal or external customer source systems as needed.
