Shahid Rajaii Port Becomes Msc's Middle East Development Hub

According to "Tehran Times", Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), the second largest shipping line in the world, has selected Iran's Shahid Rajaii Port as its hub for developing activities in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region
. The company will expand its activities via establishing a direct line among Iran's Shahid Rajaii Port, China's ports, and Far East. MSC will use 6 giant container ships, each with the capacity of 2600 TEU, to establish the direct shipping line among the ports from Iran, China, and the Far East. By joining the said shipping line, the volume of operations in Shahid Rajaii Port will increase by 50,000 TEU per annumSource: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
