DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality integration solutions, today announced that UATP, the global corporate travel payment network, has selected DataFlux(R) data profiling technology to lead data quality analysis efforts at the company. Founded in 1936, UATP is the world's first business travel payment system.

UATP accounts are issued by 14 airlines worldwide to their corporate customers and accepted by more than 220 airlines and travel agencies. The company receives credit card processing information from a wide variety of sources and turned to DataFlux to help analyze and discover data quality improvement opportunities. DataFlux technology is used to enhance and ensure the utmost data quality and consistency for the UATP issuer airlines and their corporate customers.

"As we process transaction information, UATP is continually striving to ensure that millions of data records are monitored and analyzed for data quality and accuracy," said Gary Zannotti, vice president of operations, UATP. "DataFlux's data profiling software provides a unique, intuitive interface for data discovery, which we want to use to uncover potentially problematic data - and communicate any anomalies to our network of member companies."

The DataFlux Data Quality Integration Solution provides cutting-edge data profiling and data analysis technology that provides the foundation for data improvement efforts. Organizations use DataFlux data profiling software to perform in-depth data discovery and auditing to assess the validity, completeness and accuracy of source data. With the Data Quality Integration Solution, companies can then build the business rules to correct, standardize and verify information - all from the same platform.

"DataFlux customers understand that any data quality or data integration program must start with a data profiling phase," said Tony Fisher, president and general manager of DataFlux.
