Golden Group Calls for INBOX 2006 Speaking Proposals From Email Marketing and IT Professionals; Show Expands to Provide Marketers With Focused Industry Event
Posted on: Tuesday, 6 December 2005, 12:00 CST
Today, the Golden Group announced a Call for Papers for the INBOX 2006 event, being held in San Jose, CA from May 31 through June 1. INBOX is the only conference focused entirely on email, and this year's show will be the most comprehensive and informative to date. Marketers, technologists, messaging professionals and service providers are encouraged to submit creative and innovative campaigns, technology solutions and best practices to be shared and showcased.
Email remains one of the top marketing channels across a broad spectrum of verticals. Messaging is much more than a communication tool -- it is a vital mechanism in sales, support, marketing and ebusiness. In a recent report, "The ROI of Email Relevance: Improving Campaign Results Through Targeting," JupiterResearch touted email as having the ability to generate nine times the revenue and 18 times the profit of broadcast mailings, using techniques such as targeting and Web analytics. INBOX presents a unique forum where marketers can learn such ROI-maximizing techniques that go well beyond hitting the send button.
This year's curriculum brings together two mission-critical aspects of email: marketers and technologists. The INBOX 2006 event branches out to include a strong representation of marketer-related issues in addition to the core messaging infrastructure issues to give a much larger scope of attendees the latest information on all aspects of email. The marketing program covers strategy, creative, delivery, customer acquisition and retention. Preliminary topics include:
-- CRM integration
-- Cutting-edge creative campaigns and best practices
-- Viral marketing strategies
-- Selecting an email service provider
-- Bridging the gap between IT and marketing to deliver the best results
The technology program addresses systems and security. Preliminary topics include:
-- Collaboration and integration
-- Outsourcing vs. insourcing
-- Compliance/regulatory concerns
-- Authentication strategies and reputation management
-- Threat management strategies addressing phishing, pharming and malware-based attacks
The Golden Group is calling for presentation proposals from the best and brightest of email marketing and technology to build on the INBOX reputation as a world-class curriculum. Past sponsors and exhibitors include CipherTrust, Inc., Eudora, IronPort Systems, Microsoft Corp., Port25 Solutions, Return Path Inc., SendMail Inc., SKYLIST Email Solutions and Teneros Inc.
