Frontier Airlines Reports Preliminary Traffic for November 2005

DENVER, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Frontier Airlines today announced preliminary traffic results for November 2005. Revenue passenger miles increased 10.8 percent to 573,610,000 for November 2005 from the same period last year. Available seat miles increased 7.5 percent to 780,087,000 for November 2005 from the same period last year. This resulted in a load factor for November 2005 of 73.5 percent, an increase of 2.2 points from November 2004, when the airline reported a load factor of 71.3 percent. The airline carried 608,825 passengers during November 2005, a 16.5 percent increase from November 2004. The airline reported passenger yield of 11.25 cents for the month of November 2005, an increase of 5.6 percent from the same period last year. Its passenger revenue per available seat mile was 8.27 cents, up .67 cents or 8.8 percent from November 2004. For the month of November 2005, the airline's average length of haul decreased 4.8 percent to 942 miles as compared to the same period last year.
