Contract to Build Container Ships Terminal in Chinese Port

Al-Bayan newspaper reported on the signing of a contract to build a container ships terminal in the Chinese port city Singdao. The management of the Dubai Ports Company signed the contract with managers from the Chinese city
. The contract includes building a terminal for container ships with a 1320 meter wharf at an investments of $500 million. The paper quoted Dubai Ports Company Deputy Chairman of the Board Jamal Majid bin Thanyah who estimated in mid-November 2005 that work on this project will be completed in 2008.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
