Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. Reports November 2005 Traffic

CHEYENNE, Wyo., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (BULLETIN BOARD: GLUX) today announced preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of November.

Scheduled service generated 9,477,000 revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 6.4 percent decrease from the same month last year. Available seat miles (ASMs) increased 0.7 percent to 22,843,000. As a result, load factor decreased 3.1 points to 41.5 percent. Passengers carried decreased 1.5 percent to 36,004 when compared to November 2004. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM) increased 20.2 % from 23.47 cents to 28.22 cents.

For the eleven months ending November 30, 2005 compared to the same eleven month period in 2004, revenue passenger miles (RPMs) decreased 13.0 percent to 107,353,000 and available seat miles (ASMs) decreased 12.9 percent to 256,642,000, resulting in a load factor of 41.8 percent for the year 2005 compared to 41.9 percent for the same eleven month period in 2004. The company carried 403,799 revenue passengers for the eleven month period ending November 30, 2005, a 9.4 percent decrease from the prior year. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM) increased 16.4% from 22.45 cents to 26.14 cents on a year-over-year basis.

The company will initiate service between Pueblo and Denver, Colorado on December 18, 2005.

Great Lakes is providing scheduled passenger service at 39 airports in ten states with a fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias and Raytheon/Beech 1900D regional airliners. A total of 188 weekday flights are scheduled at three hubs, with 130 flights at Denver, 8 flights at Albuquerque, and 20 flights at Phoenix. All scheduled flights are operated under the Great Lakes Airlines marketing identity in conjunction with code-share agreements with United Airlines and Frontier Airlines at the Denver International Airport and Phoenix International Airport hubs.
