Mike Richardson Rejoins Acterna Cable Networks Division; 20-Year Industry Veteran Returns as Director of North American Sales

GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 11, 2003--Acterna announced today that industry veteran Mike Richardson has been named director of North American sales for the company's Cable Networks Division. A former Acterna employee who helped design some of Acterna's most successful cable test instruments, Richardson has returned to Acterna after serving most recently as a sales manager at Sunrise Telecommunications.

In his new role, Richardson will be responsible for managing Acterna's American CATV Manufacturers Representative channel and CATV Sales Engineers.

Richardson brings a deep understanding of the cable industry's technology trends, strong customer relationships and a reputation for delivering communications test solutions that help network operators realize network operating efficiencies and greater productivity. In his new role with Acterna, Richardson will focus on delivering tools and solutions enabling the ongoing deployment and management of services such as high-speed data, VoIP and digital video for leading cable operators throughout the U.S. and Canada.
