Movielink (www.movielink.com), the leading broadband video-on-demand service, has introduced a Web site specifically designed for families. Movielink Family is a fun and safe movie downloading service where parents and their children can find popular G and PG-rated movies, educational documentaries and cartoons suitable for all ages.
With hundreds of family-based titles available from Movielink's library of more than 1200 films, Movielink Family (http://family.movielink.com) lets parents and children download movies without being concerned about inappropriate material. So whether at a relative's house for the holidays, away on a tropical vacation, or just relaxing at home, the whole family can now spend quality time and enjoy kid-oriented flicks together at everyone's convenience. To celebrate the launch of Movielink Family, Movielink is giving 50% off the first downloaded title.
"Our customers have expressed a strong interest in having a family-oriented site for movies and other entertainment," said Alan Citron, senior vice president of marketing, Movielink. "We're happy to provide that service. Over the coming months, we'll continue to add content specifically geared to this audience."
Movielink is available to U.S. Internet users with broadband connections. Consumers can easily browse Movielink's user-friendly site and view trailers of available titles without charge. Once customers are ready to rent a title, they register with Movielink and pay for their rental via credit card. Movielink's Movies in Minutes(TM) feature lets customers begin watching titles within 2-10 minutes, or store them for up to 30 days and experience unlimited viewing for any 24-hour period. Customers can also use Movielink's MultiPlay(TM) feature to re-rent titles for additional 24-hour viewing periods for up to 30 days after the initial rental.
