FalconStor Software Customized to Support Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Now Available

FalconStor Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: FALC), a leading developer of network storage software solutions, announced that its IPStor(R) Enterprise Edition software, TimeMark(R) and Snapshot Agent for SQL Server support Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and are now generally available.

Today's news builds on the existing FalconStor and Microsoft relationship, this time supporting the release of Microsoft SQL Server 2005. FalconStor's IPStor solution offers rapid and reliable backup and recovery services via application-aware, client-based snapshot agent technology specifically developed for SQL Server. The IPStor snapshot agent for SQL Server 2005 enables reliable snapshots of the active database with point-in-time consistency and transactional integrity, working seamlessly with TimeMark to minimize downtime with quick time-to-restore, even if the data is spread across multiple drives and locations.
