Mobile Action (http://usa.mobileaction.com), a global leader in mobile management software, has signed two new deals with online retailers New Egg (www.newegg.com) and PC Mall (www.pcmall.com) to carry Handset Manager, Mobile Action's popular cellular phone-to-PC data sharing solution.
New Egg is carrying the most popular versions of Handset Manager for Motorola, Sanyo and LG mobile phones, the most popular phone models in use throughout North America. Handset Manager not only connects these cellular phones to your PC to share critical data, such as contact and calendar information, it also lets you create customized ring tones, upload and download images, and even charge select cellular phone models from your PC.
Mobile Action also has partnered with Wildcat Communications to offer Handset Manager products on PC Mall under the Wildcat brand name. Wildcat Communications is offering USB cables and software "Powered by Mobile Action" for the most popular North American cell phones, including the Motorola Razr, LG GSMA phones, Samsung GSM phones, and Nokia CDMA phones.
"More holiday shoppers are going online to find the perfect gift this Christmas season, so we have expanded our online sales program by working with two of the most successful consumer electronics e-tailers in North America," said Fitzwilliam Yang, brand manager for Mobile Action. "This holiday season marks Handset Manager's first year of sales in the U.S., and it has been a banner year. We already have a strong retail presence through a number of retailers who offer PC software and cellular phone accessories, as well as growing online sales."
Handset Manager allows cellular phone customers to connect their phones to their PCs to share files and manage features on their mobile phones, and supports the sharing of Outlook and Outlook Express address information and calendar synchronization. The latest release, Handset Manager 9.0, includes new features such as an MP3 audio clipper and editor, and a video composer with the ability to create and share music and movie files between your laptop or PC and your mobile phone. These new functions enable users to create, cut and mix their favorite MP3 files and video clips to produce ring tones and short films for their mobile phones. Handset Manager also features a picture editor to manage cell phone pictures and wallpaper, an audio composer to create customized ring tones and an MMS composer for multimedia messages. It also lets PC users use their cell phone as a wireless modem and as a cellular phone charger for certain phone models.
