Union Pacific Railroad Selects Duos Technologies, Inc. To Provide High-Tech Homeland Security Solutions for the Protection of Critical Railroad Infrastructure

Duos Technologies, Inc. announces the signing of a master agreement with Union Pacific Railroad (UP) to provide high-tech Homeland Security solutions for the protection of critical railroad infrastructure. The master agreement orders the design, manufacture, and installation of various state-of-the-art, application specific surveillance and monitoring systems at sensitive points along the UP grid. Duos Technologies, Inc. has completed numerous DHS buffer zone surveillance systems projects for U.S. rail lines.

Jenson, Chief of Police - Union Pacific Railroad, says: "UP is intent upon mitigating the negative impact threats and security breaches have on the success of its Unified Plan effort to match demand and capacity. A key factor is the elimination of bottlenecks that impact train velocity and therefore productivity.
