Tescom Selected to Test Grant Management System for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ''CDC''

Tescom Software Systems Testing Ltd (LSE: TSCM), the leading quality assurance ("QA") and software testing provider, announces that Tescom USA has been selected for quality assurance consulting and software testing for a grant management application for the Division of State and Local Readiness at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia. The CDC, has more than 8,500 employees across the country, and plays a critical role in protecting the public from the most widespread, deadly and mysterious threats against our health today and tomorrow.

Tescom will use its knowledge and expertise, working onsite with the existing development team and the user community. The first phase of the contract will last 12 months and Tescom's experienced team of consultants will create a test plan, design test cases and conduct other functional tests in order to ensure user satisfaction and the reliability of the system. The contract has an option of a further four years, bringing the total contract value to over $1.9 million. The project is a grants management system developed in .NET with a SQL Server database.
