Limelight Media Group Announces Mobile Media Advertising Division

SEATTLE, Dec. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Limelight Media Group, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: LMMG) , an innovator in the content, creation and management of out-of-home digital advertising and information networks, announced today with an SEC 8-K filing that it has formally severed the agreement to acquire a controlling interest in OTR Media as previously disclosed. Due to a series of issues that arose after LMMG's due diligence, it was determined by the Company that completing the anticipated transaction was not in the best interest of the Company and its shareholders.

"During the investigative process, the Company became more convinced of the viability of the mobile media industry as whole, and in particular, the synergistic opportunities that a mobile media offering could add to the Company's core end-to-end, out-of-home digital media solutions business. This led the Company down a path of forming a new division, called IMPART Mobile Media, to address the significant opportunities available in the industry," stated David V. Lott, CEO of Limelight Media Group. Lott continued, "Since the creation of the division there has been a tremendous response to this new offering which includes the pursuit of several contracts with fleet owners which could lead to deployment as early as the first quarter of 2006."

The IMPART Mobile Media Division is being led by former OTR Media executive, Stewart Layton, who holds the position of executive vice president for the IMPART Mobile Media Division. Under Layton's guidance, the division is tasked with establishing the necessary infrastructure to capitalize on three primary business venues in the Fleet Marketing industry: (1) Truck-side Advertising; (2) Fleet Marking; and (3) Fleet Asset and Retail Media Management.

Stewart Layton, IMPART Mobile Media executive vice president explained, "Truck-side advertising provides a cost efficient and highly targeted alternative to standard billboard advertising in key media markets. It is the second fastest growing segment of the out-of-home media industry and second only to digital signage."

IMPART is seeking to enhance this truck-side media with state-of-the-art technology to provide accurate, daily audience measurement of client schedules which will serve to establish IMPART's Mobile Media service significantly beyond other industry competitors. Likewise, IMPART's Fleet Marking service utilizes the latest advancements in digital printing technology to transform otherwise "blank" company fleet truck assets into high impact, rolling billboards on wheels. These services are designed to strategically incorporate multiple disciplines and flexible product offerings such as various frame systems, self-adhesive graphics and national installation capabilities which will enable IMPART Mobile Media to raise the competitive bar of entry in this industry segment.
